Agreement Overview

By accessing or using OfficeTools (officetoolsapp.com) and our file transfer, PDF utilities, image optimization, or media processing tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

1. Your Content & 100% File Ownership

You retain full ownership, title, and intellectual property rights in every file you upload to OfficeTools. We claim zero ownership, license, or proprietary rights over your documents, images, video, audio, or archive files.

You grant OfficeTools only the limited, temporary technical permission strictly required to transmit, convert, or deliver your files as directed by your actions. We do not use your files to train machine learning models, build public databases, or sell to third parties.

2. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use OfficeTools only for lawful purposes. You strictly represent and warrant that you will not upload, share, or process any content that:

• Contains malware, computer viruses, ransomware, trojans, or malicious code designed to interrupt or compromise electronic systems.
• Infringes upon any third party's copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or proprietary rights.
• Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM), non-consensual sexual imagery, hate speech, terrorism, or illegal contraband.
• Attempts to disrupt, overload, or execute denial-of-service attacks against OfficeTools infrastructure or network endpoints.
• Involves automated mass abusive crawling or attempts to bypass rate limits and safety restrictions.

Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate termination of transfer links, blacklisting of IP addresses, and reporting to legal authorities where warranted.

3. DMCA Copyright Policy & Takedown Protocol

OfficeTools complies fully with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) and international copyright conventions. We operate under strict Safe Harbor guidelines and will promptly remove any infringing content upon receiving a valid notification.

If you are a copyright owner or authorized representative and believe content hosted via a transfer link infringes your copyright, please send a written DMCA notice containing:

• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
• The specific OfficeTools URL or transfer link containing the allegedly infringing file.
• Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email address).
• A statement of good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A physical or electronic signature of the authorized copyright holder or representative.

4. Ephemeral Storage & Retention Policy

OfficeTools is an ephemeral transfer and productivity utility, not a permanent cloud backup or archival repository.

All files uploaded via our file transfer service are scheduled for automatic, irreversible deletion within 1 to 5 days after upload (based on the sender's selected duration). We bear no liability for files that are purged at the expiration of this window. Users are strongly advised to keep independent local copies of all files prior to transmission.

5. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Service Provided "As Is"

OfficeTools is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted uptime.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OfficeTools and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data corruption, or business interruption arising from the use of or inability to use our tools.

Service Modifications & Premium Tiers: OfficeTools reserves the right to modify service parameters, adjust file storage limits, and introduce optional premium tiers or feature upgrades at its discretion.
