OfficeTools operates distinct utility suites. Here is exactly how your files and data are handled across each application:
A. File Transfer Service (/transfer)5-Day Ephemeral Storage
When you upload files for transfer, they are transmitted via TLS 1.3 encryption and stored in secure, access-restricted ephemeral object storage. A unique download link is generated for your recipients. Files are automatically, permanently, and irreversibly deleted within 1 to 5 days after upload (depending on your chosen timeframe), or immediately upon manual sender deletion. We do not retain archival backups or shadow copies.
B. PDF Suite (/pdf-tools)Private Document Processing
Operations such as PDF Merge, Split, Rotate, Image-to-PDF conversion, and Watermarking are processed with total confidentiality. Your contracts, invoices, and sensitive documents are processed with instant turnaround and are never stored on permanent servers, logged, or harvested.
C. Image Studio (/image-optimizer)Zero Photo Retention
When optimizing, resizing, or converting images to WebP/AVIF, your images are processed strictly to return the optimized asset to your browser. We never retain, index, or build galleries from user-uploaded images.
D. Media Studio (/media-tools)Audio & Video Processing • DMCA Safe
Audio extraction (MP3/WAV), format transcoding, and Audio-to-Video generation (MP3 + Image to MP4) are processed with complete privacy. Our Safe Direct Link Fetcher strictly inspects direct, unencrypted media assets and complies fully with DMCA Safe Harbor policies by refusing all unauthorized streaming platform rip requests.
